Day 1 - It is time to Cruise

Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from the Airport or your Hotel by your tour organiser who will transfer you to your Nile River cruise. Once aboard, settle in for a relaxing journey and lunch on board.

As the boat sets sail towards Luxor, you will pass through scenic views of the Nile, with a brief stop at Kom Ombo to explore its famous temple. Afterwards, the cruise continues to Esna, where one can enjoy the peaceful surroundings before the boat docks for the night.

This first day sets the tone for your unforgettable adventure, offering a blend of relaxation and the start of your exploration of Egypt's ancient wonders.

Day 2 - Aswan to Esna

Begin your day with breakfast on board before heading out to visit the Temple of Khnum in Esna. Dedicated to the ram-headed god Khnum, the temple was an important site for those seeking protection from the cataracts. After the visit, continue your journey south along the Nile.

Enjoy lunch on board as the cruise sails towards Luxor, arriving by mid-afternoon. You may have some free time to relax on the boat and soak in the views. The evening is at your leisure, with the option to explore Luxor or unwind. The cruise will stay overnight in Luxor, allowing guests to rest and prepare for the next day's adventure.

Day 3 - Discovering Luxor's History

After breakfast on board, guests will embark on an early morning visit to Karnak Temple, often referred to as the "world's largest open-air museum." Covering a vast area, it includes several impressive temples, with the Temple of Amun and Luxor Temple being the most notable.

Following the exploration, the group will return to the boat for a delicious lunch as it sets sail towards the evening. Guests can relax and enjoy a tranquil dinner on board, with overnight accommodation in Luxor. Or they can enjoy an optional evening of Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple, blending history with a stunning audiovisual experience amid the grandeur of ancient Egypt.

Day 4 - Transfer to Airport or your next destination

After disembarkation, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home after exploring ancient Egypt’s wonders. Travelling along the River Nile is the best way to discover Egypt and by the end of the trip, you will realise how important the river has been over the centuries, and still is.

Direct flights from Luxor are operated by TUI, EasyJet and EgyptAir and are available once a week. However, routes via Cairo are recommended to take advantage of the flexible dates.
