The Concorde Moreen Beach Resort & Spa is an upscale 5-star resort offering relaxing accommodation in a fresh modern contemporary furnished style. Its location in the heart of Abu Dabour Bay surrounds guests with beautiful lash gardens and views over the 800 metres white sandy beach.

The resort is located only 24 km from the International Airport of Marsa Alam and is well connected with the other major cultural spots such as Luxor, the ideal location for a day tour!

Orca Diving Centre is located on the grounds of the hotel offering you a variety of diving packages and courses which will meet all your needs. Just outside the dive shop you will find ample space and sitting facilities where you can assemble your diving equipment. The dive centre will allocate you with boxes at check in so you can store all your equipment. From here you will have the opportunity to discover the unspoiled coral reefs as well as the fantastic house reef just a stone throws away from the resort.

Orca Divers

Marsa Alam

Orca Dive Club is located on the grounds of the Concorde Moreen Beach Resort offering you a variety of diving packages and courses which will meet all your needs. Just outside the dive shop you will find ample space and sitting facilities where you can assemble your diving equipment.

The dive centre will allocate you with boxes at check in so you can store all your equipment. From here you will have the opportunity to discover the unspoiled coral reefs as well as the fantastic house reef just a stone throws away from the resort accessed from the 40 metre long jetty or directly from the beach were a small canon leads to the actual reef.

The dive boat for trips to the legendary Elphinstone or Shaab Samadai is in Marsa Alam. The minibus takes you to Abu Dabab, where you always have the chance to encounter dugongs, large turtles or cookiecutter sharks.

Please note:

All courses include equipment and instructor services. Manuals and certification fees are not included and will be charged at the dive centre. Manuals & Certification Fee 65,00 €



Important Notice:

When diving or snorkelling in Egypt, you must always carry your passport with you as it is a requirement for the boat permissions. Please also be aware that coastguards do carry out random checks and as such anyone who does not have a passport will not be permitted to join the boat. To dive at certain dive sites, you will be required to get a Full Egyptian Tourist Visa.

PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Open Water Referral

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

You attain this rating by completing five pool dives and a number of knowledge development sessions with a final exam (which is not rocket science its just diving) and by completing four open water dives.

SSI Advanced Diver

In order to complete the SSI Advanced Divers you must have completed a total of 24 dives Including the 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties

SSI Recommend a maximum qualifying depth of 30m but this can be increased to 39m with experience.

Stress and Rescue course can be taken before or after Advanced Diver.

The SSI Advanced Diver course includes 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties.

SSI Open Water Diver

This is a completion of a series of classroom lessons, 5 pool lessons and 5 open water lessons, the award of SSI Open Water Diver prepares the diver to enjoy their diving experience without incurring decompression stops. Kit removal and weight belt removal are included.

Open Water Lessons
5 qualification dives with 5th dive being a pleasure dive. First dive to a Maximum of 12m and subsequent dives to a maximum depth of 18m or 12m if classed as a junior.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

PADI Rescue Diver

Become a Rescue Diver. A great level to be. You will have the skills to aid your fellow divers in an emergency.

The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:

  • Self-rescue

  • Recognizing and managing stress in other divers

  • Emergency management and equipment

  • Rescuing panicked divers

  • Rescuing unresponsive divers
