The Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort is a new exclusive resort in Marsa Alam featuring sweeping beach views and a fantastic marina promenade. You can enjoy one of the most amazing views over the Red Sea from the resort’s main pool which is heated in the winter and overflows into a second poo and get pleasure from the adjoining Jacuzzi. Besides the main pool, children can play in their kids’ pool.

The Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort includes a total of 471 rooms, spreading out in clusters over a large landscaped domain. All of the spacious rooms have a balcony with full or partial sea view, some boasting fantastic pool or garden views.

A short stroll takes you to the 800-meter-long beach area, probably the nicest in the area with access to the sea and to the coral reef; suitable for swimmers of any level and snorkellers at designated areas. Central at the 800-meter-long beach is a long stretch of sand with all facilities centralized. The beach continues with smaller and cosy bays which are unique settings for some quieter relaxation.

The resort aims to tickle all taste buds throughout the day. In addition to buffet meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are happy hour snacks at the pool bar, afternoon tea and pancakes at the Lagoon Beach bar and a variety of daily changing cocktails to quench your thirst. The Buffet Restaurant presents at dinner time the famous themed nights ranging from the taste of Italy, around the world, wonders of the Far East, French romance, Oriental nights and many more…

The Extra Divers Dive Centre is located directly on the beach of the resort. This base shines not only due to the optimal location directly on the hotel beach near the jetty but above all because of the close by diving spots. The magical house reef right in front of the hotel is accessed by a footbridge offering the best conditions for unforgettable diving experiences.

Extra Divers Fayrouz

Marsa Alam

Extra Divers is located directly on the beach of the Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort offering an optimal location near the jetties and close by diving spots. The resort’s magical house reef right in front of the hotel can be easily reached via a jetty just a few metres from the dive centre and offers some of the best conditions for unforgettable diving experiences.

Due to the location of the entry and exit, diving on the house reef is possible in (almost) any weather. The intact coral reef falls off gradually and you can come up close and personal with a range of sea creatures including octopuses, moray eels and rays. Barracudas and turtles are regularly observed and from time to time mantas and whitetip reef sharks come by.

The port of Port Ghalib is just 5 minutes north of the hotel. Boat trips start from Port Ghalib, Equinox and Marsa Alam with a minibus running half-day and full-day trips starting at the dive centre. Additional day boat and zodiac trips are offered together from the Extra Divers base in the Equinox.

The dive sites can be reached within 15 to 90 minutes and the range of dive spots ranges from El Quseir to Marsa Alam including Marsa Abu Dabab, Marsa Murain and Abu Dabbour can be reached by minibus. Diving from the boat takes place at the Abu Dabab Reefs, Elphinstone Reef, Abu Sail and Shaab Samadai (Dolphinhouse).

The well-trained and experienced team provides multilingual training in small groups according to SSI, PADI, CMAS, and PRO-NRC standards, from the Open Water Diver to the Divemaster and all common specialties. Trial dives and special diving courses for children from the age of 8 are also available and offered in the natural lagoon in front of the resort.

SSI Advanced Diver

In order to complete the SSI Advanced Divers you must have completed a total of 24 dives Including the 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties

SSI Recommend a maximum qualifying depth of 30m but this can be increased to 39m with experience.

Stress and Rescue course can be taken before or after Advanced Diver.

The SSI Advanced Diver course includes 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties.

SSI Open Water Diver

This is a completion of a series of classroom lessons, 5 pool lessons and 5 open water lessons, the award of SSI Open Water Diver prepares the diver to enjoy their diving experience without incurring decompression stops. Kit removal and weight belt removal are included.

Open Water Lessons
5 qualification dives with 5th dive being a pleasure dive. First dive to a Maximum of 12m and subsequent dives to a maximum depth of 18m or 12m if classed as a junior.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.
