As the cruise heads toward Aswan, the atmosphere becomes more tranquil, with stops at fascinating sites like Kom Ombo and Edfu, each revealing unique glimpses into Egypt’s storied past. Aswan itself is a beautiful contrast, offering both modern and ancient attractions. Visit the stunning Philae Temple, the impressive High Dam and the mysterious Unfinished Obelisk. Itinerary Overview

Day 1 - Ready, set, travel to Luxor

When you arrive in Luxor, our guide will meet you at the airport or your hotel and transfer you to your Nile cruise.

Dinner on board or for late arrivals a light snack will be served. Overnight in Luxor.

The Nile cruise ship departs from Luxor every Monday.

Day 2 - Explore treasures on the West Bank

After breakfast on board, you will begin the Egyptian adventure with visit to the West Bank. This will allow you to explore the Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, which are the burial sites for many of the most powerful and successful pharaohs and high priests. Along with the Temple of Hatshepsut and Medinet Habu Temple.

Return to the boat for lunch on board as the boats sets sail to Esna, Enjoy your evening with dinner on board and overnight in Esna.

Day 3 - Visit Edfu and Kom Ombo

Enjoy a leisurely morning before making a brief stop at Edfu. The cruise will then continue to Kom Ombo, where guests will visit the unique temple dedicated to two gods. The southern section honours Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility, while the northern section is dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god.

A fascinating crocodile museum nearby showcases artifacts and mummified crocodiles, offering further insight into ancient Egyptian culture.

After the visit, the cruise will sail to Aswan for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Visit Philae temple and Aswan High Dam

Start your visit to Aswan with a tour of the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The original island of Philae now lies submerged beneath Lake Nasser, but when the Aswan High Dam was constructed in the 1960s, the temples were carefully dismantled and relocated to a higher island.

Next, visit the Aswan High Dam, a marvel of engineering that contains 18 times more material than the Great Pyramid of Cheops. After a delicious lunch on board, enjoy a relaxing boat trip around Elephantine Island, making your way to the beautiful Botanical Gardens on General Kitchener Island.

Overnight in Aswan, where you can unwind and reflect on the day's discoveries.

Day 5 - Relax and Reflect

After disembarkation, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home, or to your hotel if you are continuing your journey independently.

For those wishing to extend their adventure, an optional trip to Abu Simbel can be arranged.

This marks the end of an unforgettable Nile cruise, rich in history and beauty and can be easily added to your own travel itinerary.
