From Cairo, you will travel south to Aswan, where your Nile cruise will begin. In Aswan, you can visit the impressive High Dam and the serene Philae Temple on its Island setting. As you cruise along the River Nile, you willl encounter stunning sights like the Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus, and the remarkably preserved Edfu Temple. Each stop along the way reveals the grandeur of ancient Egypt, culminating in Luxor, where you can explore the tombs of the pharaohs at the Valley of the Kings and the vast Karnak Temple complex.

Conclude your journey with a relaxing stay in Hurghada, a coastal gem on the Red Sea. Here, you can unwind at a luxury resort, enjoying world-class amenities and beautiful beaches. Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Start your journey in Cairo

Arrive in Cairo where our representative will meet you outside the airport and arrange a transfer to your hotel.

During the transfer, our representative will provide you with essential information about the country, review your tour itinerary, and finalise the pick-up time for the following day's tours. They will also confirm the designated meeting point at the hotel for you, ensuring everything is set for a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Check-in to your pre-booked accommodation. Spend the day exploring the local area and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of Cairo.

Day 2: Guided Tour of the Pyramids and Sphinx

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and take you on a guided tour to Memphis, one of the oldest and most revered religious cities of Lower Egypt. Here, you will explore its open-air museum, which highlights the city’s historical importance. Then you will head to Saqqara to marvel at the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. As the first Pharaoh to have his tomb built on such a grand scale, Djoser’s monumental pyramid represents the strength and divine authority of the state. After a fascinating morning, stop over for quick lunch before continuing your journey.

Explore the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, built over 4,500 years ago. Marvel at the Great Sphinx and later visit additional nearby attractions if time allows.

After an enriching day, get taken back to the hotel to relax. You could consider dining out at one of Cairo’s renowned restaurants or enjoy a quiet evening at the hotel.

* If you wish to explore the Pyramids from the inside, then tickets can be purchased separately. It is best to inform your guide, as they will be the most suitable person to purchase the entrance tickets for you.

Day 3: Guided Museum Visits

After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Discover its extensive collection of ancient artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. Marvel at the intricate craftsmanship of relics and gain insight into Egypt’s rich history through its fascinating exhibitions and displays.

After lunch, you will visit the Citadel of Cairo, an iconic historical site offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Explore the Citadel’s impressive fortifications and historical buildings, including the grand Mosque of Muhammad Ali, known for its stunning Ottoman architecture and opulent interiors. Wander through its expansive courtyards and intricate halls, immersing yourself in the rich history and architectural splendour. The Citadel also features several museums, providing further insight into Cairo’s past. Enjoy the panoramic vistas and reflect on the historical significance of this majestic fortress.

The day concludes with a visit to the bustling Khan el Khalili Bazaar, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture and shop for unique souvenirs before being taken back to your hotel.

Day 4: Take a flight from Cairo to Aswan

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan, which takes approximately 2 hours.

When you arrive in Aswan, your guide will be waiting for you outside the airport. They will take you to your hotel for an overnight stay and you can take advantage of the hotel amenities, such as pools, spas and dining options. Enjoy a relaxing day at the hotel and venture out to explore the local town, vibrant markets, and savour fresh food at local eateries.

Day 5: Embark on an unforgettable journey

Check out from the hotel and join an early morning excursion to Abu Simbel - pick up is around 3:30 am.

Set off on an exciting trip to the magnificent Abu Simbel temples, built by Ramses II on the shores of Lake Nasser. These colossal temples, with their towering statues and intricate carvings, are a testament to ancient Egypt's grandeur.

After this unforgettable excursion, you will be transferred to your Nile Cruise Ship.

Alternatively, you can unwind with a scenic boat ride around Elephantine Island and explore the lush Botanical Gardens on Kitchener's Island.

Day 6: Tranquil voyage from Aswan

Enjoy a relaxing morning at leisure. After lunch on board your Nile cruise ship, set sail for Kom Ombo. Following a visit to the Kom Ombo temple, continue your journey along the River Nile, spending the night on board.

Day 7: Onward to Luxor

After breakfast onboard, your guide will take you to visit Edfu Temple, where you will explore a beautifully preserved site that tells the legendary battle tale of Horus and Seth, all set against a stunning backdrop of ancient mythology.

Continue sailing to Luxor then embark on a journey to explore Karnak Temple, renowned as the world’s greatest open-air museum. Covering a vast area, it boasts numerous temples, with the Temple of Amun being the largest. Next, visit the nearby Luxor Temple, once connected to Karnak by a grand avenue of Sphinxes, many of which still stand today. Return to the boat for a final dinner on board and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 8: Overnight in Luxor

After breakfast, disembark and explore the highlights of Luxor's west bank, including the Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, and the Temple of Hatshepsut, where the legacy of Egypt’s great pharaohs comes to life.

Check in to your hotel. Spend the afternoon in Luxor strolling through vibrant local souks, charming cafes, and unique souvenir shops, experiencing the lively atmosphere and everyday charm of this historic city.

Day 9-13: Onward to Red Sea

After lunch, embark on a journey by road from Luxor to Hurghada. You will be taken to your resort, which will be your home for the next 5 nights. Make the most of the hotel’s amenities, including swimming pools, spas, bars, and restaurants. Spend your days unwinding on the beach or by the pool, and enjoy your evenings tasting the exquisite dishes at the resort’s dining venues.

For adventure seekers, there’s a fantastic array of water sports on offer, from windsurfing to kitesurfing. If you’re drawn to the underwater world, the Red Sea is perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving, with colourful coral reefs and diverse marine life just offshore. Prefer a change of pace? Head to El Dahar Old Town for a taste of history, or enjoy a leisurely stroll along Hurghada Marina, where shops, cafes, and restaurants line the waterfront.

Day 14: Time to head back

It is time to head home, but as you leave, you take with you the unforgettable memories and experiences of this remarkable trip. You will check out and transfer to Cairo by road or board your flight to the UK.
