If you are looking to do as many dives possible around Sipadan this is the most cost effective way to do so. A key benefit is daily Sipadan permits to give you peace of mind to dive in this great place over and over again.

M/V Celebes Explorer is a custom built boat made for divers with its 2 fully equipped dive tenders offering 3, 4 and 7 night itineraries to the secluded islands of Semporna Marine Park in the Celebes Sea. She has 12 crew members aboard providing guests the best service and diving possible, they are friendly and experienced and are there to help you with any questions or queries you may have regarding the itinerary or the yacht.

There are 6 twin cabins located on the lower deck and 2 double cabins located on the middle deck, all with en-suite bathroom, wardrobe, air conditioning unit, safety box, reading lights, UK style sockets, hairdryer and bath towels. The sundeck is a great place to take in the views; it has wooden chairs, tables and a beach mattress making it the perfect place to relax after a long day’s diving. You can also unwind in the library that contains many marine books in a number of languages.

The spacious salon is air conditioned and can accommodate all 16 guests around 2 tables. The bar is located in the salon where guests can get complimentary water, tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day, soft drinks and alcohol are available from the bar at a small cost. All meals are served buffet style with a choice of Malay and Chinese cuisine to suit everyone’s tastes buds. The dive deck has purpose built motorised tenders, a camera table and separate rinse tanks for cameras.

Dive Requirements

  • PADI Open Water Certification
  • No logged dives required but Ultimate Diving recommends good buoyancy control and that guests are comfortable diving in current situations
  • Self declaration Medical Form duly signed by you
