The first stop is in Tobago home to over 400 different species of fish and sea creatures and an array of beautiful reefs as well as the largest recorded brain coral in the world. The presence of currents on most dives brings nutrient-rich waters where you will have encounters with an impressive array of marine life including sharks, turtles, schools of jackfish, tarpon and other pelagic fish preying on plankton or smaller fish.

Your second week will be at the year-round destination of Grenada offering divers some of the best diving in the Caribbean with a wide range of diving options including amazing shipwrecks, beautiful wall dives and pinnacles, wrecks, coral gardens, muck diving and a beautiful underwater sculpture park. Most of the dive sites are located around the south and west coast of the Island.

Grenada is considered the wreck capital of the Caribbean with more than 15 wrecks to explore on it seascape. Biana C, the “Titanic of the Caribbean” sunk on an explosion back in 1961 and today lies at a depth of 50 metres with the main deck between 28 and 38 metres. An exciting dive you do not want to miss out on!

Itinerary Overview

Your adventure starts in Tobago at the Shepherd's Inn! An Island beyond the ordinary.

Direct flights depart London Gatwick every Tuesday to Tobago, departing at 10:20 and arriving at 16:15 local time with British Airways.

On arrival you will be met by a member of our ground team and transferred to the Shepherd's Inn hotel, your home for the next 7 nights.

Shepherd's Inn, previously Toucan Inn is located on the South West of the island is just a short stroll away from this boutique hotel the beautiful sandy beaches and cultural villages await you.

R&Sea Divers will show you there’s plenty to see beneath the waters around Tobago.

The nutrient rich waters surrounding the island attract a wide variety of coral and fish life including jewel-toned Creole Wrasse chasing each other through schools of silvery Bermuda Chub over reefs covered with multi-coloured corals and sponges twisted and sculpted by the currents. Under many of the ledges, Morays and Nurse Sharks can often be seen.

In addition to offering scuba diving charters 7 days a week, R&Sea Divers also offer a full range of PADI certification courses from Open Water Diver to Divemaster levels, with one of the local certified Instructors.

This is your opportunity to exploreTobago uphill and its excellent coastline and bird life.

You will be flying tomorrow so you won’t be allowed to dive today, therefore there is a few activities you can take part in.

Tobago’s Cocoa Estate & Argyle Waterfall is an absolute must. First you will visit the Cocoa plantation and have a little taste of the local produce following a short walk to the largest waterfall in Tobago, the Argyle Waterfall, where you can take a dip in the refreshing spring water.

If you are feeling very adventurous, Little Tobago and the Bird Sanctuary is worth a visit. This is where the Red-billed tropic bird and Audubon’s shearwater nest and it offers spectacular views.

Fly to Grenada, the spice of the Caribbean and an island with so much underwater diversity you will be surprised.

On a Tuesday you will fry from Tobago to Grenada via Trinidad. The flight departs Tobago at 06:40 and arrives Grenada at 08:30 local time.

On arrival you will be met by a member of our ground team and transferred to the True-Blue Bay Resort, your home for the next 7 nights.

True Blue Bay Resort is perched on a lush green hillside of Grenada offering guests beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea and the man-made white sandy beach next to the resort’s private dock.

Your package includes 5 days diving with 2 dives a day with Aquanauts Grenada, a PADI 5 starts dive centre located on the grounds of the True Blue Bay Resort.

There are many dive sites that you can explore, here are a few, the Underwater sculpture based on the original sculptures of British sculptor Jason de Caires Taylor. Quarter wreck, this dive is done by a larger cargo vessel, the wreck retains the propeller, the MV Veronica this wreck is festooned with colorful coral, sponges and marine life. The open hold is home to Sea horse, Moray eels and if you like frog fish, this is the perfect wreck for a night dive.

Time to explore the spectacular Grenada Island before heading back home!

There is plenty thing to do in Grenada, here I will point some of them. “Spicy Half Day”, Enjoy the breathtaking views of the old capital St. George’s and the winding route of the scenic west coast as we visit a waterfall, spice plantations and the fishing town of Gouyave. “Historic ST, Georges” travel through time and discover the hidden delights of St George’s, starting with the Kalinago, the Indians of South America, who arrived in Grenada over 1500 years ago – long before Columbus sailed to the new world and sighted Grenada.

“Rainforest Hike & Spa” get to know the interior of Grenada. Hike with us along Grand Etang rainforest’s fern covered trails, trekking down a 60 ft. descent to two of St. Margaret’s (7 falls) pristine waterfalls where a refreshing swim awaits. The crystal-clear water is home of fresh water shrimp as well as a variety of mullets – any of which may nibble at your toes! On the return hike, enjoy a cooling drink at the top of Grenada’s Grand Etang forest trail and a chance meeting with mischievous Mona monkeys, before returning to the capital of Grenada, St. George’s.

Pack your bags, sadly this diving adventure it’s about to end!

Sadly, it’s time to head back home.

Direct flights depart Grenada every Tuesday to London Gatwick, departing at 17:05 and arriving at 08:15 the next morning with British Airways.
