SS Thorfinn is one of the world’s best equipped liveaboards, having explored Micronesia since 1982 she now offers 7 night itineraries departing every Saturday from Weno exploring a number of sites around Truk Lagoon.

SS Thorfinn is one of the world’s best equipped liveaboards, having explored Micronesia since 1982 she now offers 7 night itineraries departing every Saturday from Weno exploring a number of sites around Truk Lagoon. This huge 58 metre boat provides a steady and stable cruise for all guests aboard. The experienced captain, 20 friendly crew and dive masters will lead you through the trip whilst helping with any questions or quires you may have regarding the boat or the itinerary.

The 10 double air conditioned cabins aboard the SS Thorfinn accommodate up to 20 guests and are located over the lower, main and upper deck. All cabins come with TV/DVD players, full length closet and port lights or windows. 8 cabins have private en-suites with the remaining 2 cabins sharing a shower room. The food aboard is a variety of international and local cuisine suiting the needs of most customers. Dietary requirements must be stated at the time of booking so the chef can adhere to any guest’s needs.

The large air conditioned dining area is furnished with 5 tables and chairs providing ample space for all divers to enjoy 3 meals a day. The spacious lounge is a great place to relax at the end of the day with a 6 speaker surround system, TV/DVD player, book library and a bar. The partially shaded sundeck is furnished with sun loungers with a hot tub on the spa deck which is the place to be in the evening. The dive deck has individual gear lockers, a camera table, charging stations, filling stations, a wetsuit hanging area and freshwater showers, diving is conducted from two 10 metre tenders.
