Our itinerary is carefully crafted to meet the needs of new divers that want to get involved in the sport. You will stay at the Morabeza Hotel and get your first underwater breaths with Scubateam Diving Centre.

Itinerary Overview

Sal Island is a very easy destination to get to with the ideal direct flight from Gatwick

Flight departs Gatwick every Thursday at 14:20 arriving Sail Island at 18:10. On arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to the Morabeza Hotel, your home for the next 7 days.

Time to get some essential learning elements underway.

On day 1 and day 2 you will be required to go through the Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving. Once the class room work is done you will have your first underwater breaths in the pool to learn basic scuba skills.

Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore.

This is where the fun really begins! You will do 4 open water dives and for the first time be taken to the ocean to practice all the skills you learnt during the pool sessions.

Time to get a little more practice under your belt.

Today you will get to go to the ocean and practice your skills whilst exploring the underwater beauty Cape Verde has to offer.

The Ideal day to further explore the island at sea or uphill.

If you have not done yet, take the opportunity to do an Island tour, In addition to the ocean, Sal Island offers its visitors the setting of a volcanic island with sites well worth the ride.

Time to say goodbye to Sal Island and start the return journey.

Flight departs Sal Island at 19:25 and arrives back at Gatwick at 02:50 the next day.
