Join Camel Dive Club’s branch at Grand Rotana Resort & Spa to explore the house reef Eagle Ray Bay, which extends along the Resort’s 400m private beach. You may choose snorkelling or diving from the shore or by boat, plus a full range of PADI courses.
The house reef Eagle Ray Bay offers relaxing diving and snorkelling, with coral slopes, pinnacles and drop-offs. Guided dives are scheduled twice a day from the beach. A specially-designed floating platform provides safe, easy access over the reef.
Boat dives are also available at Camel giving you a widest possible choice of dive sites including the Straits of Tiran, Ras Mohammed National Park, and local sites. Boat excursions to local sites and the Straits of Tiran depart from Sharks Bay jetty, from where Tiran can be reached in only 45 minutes. Sharks Bay jetty is approximately 5 minutes away by air-conditioned minibus. Boats to Ras Mohammed, Dunraven and Thistlegorm leave from Naama Bay or from Sharm el Sheikh. The jetties at Naama Bay and Sharm el Sheikh are approximately 15 minutes away.
A range of PADI courses are available from this branch. Confined water dives may be made in the resorts' swimming pools, and an air-conditioned training room is available. For open water training dives, there is a choice of diving from the beach or boat.

All courses include equipment and instructor services. Manuals, certification and national park fees are not included and will be charged at the dive centre.

Important Notice : When diving or snorkelling in Egypt, you must carry your passport with you at all times as it is a requirement for the boat permissions. Please also be aware that coastguards do carry out random checks and as such anyone who does not have a passport will not be permitted to join the boat. To dive at Ras Mohamed, Thistlegorm or Dunraven you will be required to get a
Full Egyptian Tourist Visa.
