The Zabargad Berenice Resort offers convenient access to the renowned sites of Fury Shoal by day boat and also features an amazing house reef with 16 hours a day access to the reef from the resort jetty.

The Zabargad Berenice Resort facilities make this resort a living paradise. The main restaurant offers indoor seating with panoramic views of the bay, and an outdoor terraced dining area. The range of activities is endless with the main activity being diving and snorkeling but safari trips can be organized at the resort to visit Arabian tents, the big mountains and the Shalateen city to see how people live.

The Zabargad Berenice Resort has 72 rooms featuring either a balcony or terrace, all equipped with modern amenities.

Step back in time and imagine a small diving resort, and then think Hamata. The deep south of the Egyptian Red Sea is an unspoilt paradise on land and beneath the waves. Hamata has some of the best Red Sea diving right on your door step, including the legendary Fury Shoals. Emperor Divers is ideally located right on the beach of the Zabargad Berenice Resort and is a PADI/SSI Centre and BSAC Travel Partner.

Offering fabulous house reef and day boat diving, this area is the divers' choice when you're looking for some of the most spectacular reefs the Red Sea has to offer. Our day diving boat is just three minutes away at the marina, whilst the house reef is within walking distance and a great choice for those with non-diving partners and underwater photographers.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.
