The Tropitel Dahab Oasis offers divers and non-divers the delights of the Red Sea's most famous diving spot, the Blue Hole.

The Tropitel Dahab Oasis is internationally known as a summer and winter resort with a breathtaking coastline of sun drenched beach with coral reefs and crystal clear water. The Tropitel Dahab Oasis is home to an excellent house reef, with relatively un-spoilt coral formations and a variety of fish. The hotel features a jetty with direct access to the famous canyon and house reefs.

The hotel has its own restaurant and bar but Dahab’s local restaurants, coffee bars and shops can be easily reached in 10 minutes by hotel shuttle bus or taxi.

The Tropitel Dahab Oasis has 141 guestrooms and 4 suites with 129 room offering sea view and 16 rooms offering beautiful nature views.

Lagona Divers

Tropitel Dahab Oasis

Lagona Divers is a PADI and CMAS dive centre located at the Tropitel Dahab Oasis Hotel. The dive centre building is based directly on the beach offering guests easy access to the house reef at the southern end of one the most famous dive spots in Dahab the “Canyon Garden”.

The dive jetty next to the dive centre guarantees a safe and direct entry and exit to and from the Canyon Garden and the House Reef. Diving from the house reef is possible as a buddy team as long as you have the necessary qualification and experience, a guide is available at an extra cost.

The team of qualified dive guides and instructors at the Laguna Divers dive centre arrange numerous dive trips for both students and qualified divers along the coast of Dahab. Group trips are also organised and can be kept small and personal to ensure you get an enjoyable dive. At Lagona Divers diving groups are no more than eight people.

Dive trips by jeep or pick-up are organised as half day trips including 1 dive or as full day trips with 2 dives at one or two different dive spots. All dive spots to the north of Dahab including the Blue Hole are offered as half day trips.

Please Note :
  • Diving Package pricing is based on house reef dives, other dive sites are available with a transfer fee payable locally. Half day (1 dive): 8 Euros, full day (2 dives) 12 Euros (subject to change)
  • All courses include equipment and instructor services. Manuals and certification are not included and 45 Euros will be charged at the dive centre
  • Divers with less than 30 divers need to be guided at the house reef
  • Local Marine Park fees and (voluntary) fees for the decompression chamber not included

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.
