Casa Mia is a 'boutique' resort with just 10 rooms along the beach on the local island of Mathiveri in the north of Ari Atoll and only a speedboat or seaplane ride away from Male. The island is well laid out with track roads and local stone houses, it has a small school, a simple clinic, a traditional coral stone Mosque and unlike other areas in the Maldives, Mathiveri still remains untouched giving you the opportunity to really explore the Maldivian way of life and get a genuine and educational experience.

The resort’s rooms are modern and spacious with the option of getting a beach villa on the ground floor or a sea view villa on the 1st floor where you can enjoy the stunning blue water views after a great day exploring the underwater world. Each room has air conditioning as standard and can be arranged with double or twin beds. Casa Mia’s beach front location makes this intimate resort the perfect choice for single travellers, groups or couples looking to experience the renowned Maldivian pelagic action around Ari Atoll.

Casa Mia also has its own perfectly private and tiny island just a few strokes away where you can just laze around and indulge in a true paradise looking over to your chosen home away from home from a very tropical and different perspective.

To continue enhancing your true dream of paradise, Casa Mia’s SSI diving school will inspire you to explore the incredibly panoramic underwater world. For the already certified divers, Casa Mia is located directly in the heart of the world famous diving mecca of North Ari Atoll with several of Maldives best dive sites easily on hand. Maaya Thila, Fish Head, Hafsa and Rasdhoo are all within a ride away.

Transfer Times
Speedboat transfers are included in your Ultimate Diving package and take approximately 2 hours. Seaplane transfers take 20 minutes from Male and are available on a daily basis between 06:15am and 17:00pm at a supplement of £86.00 per person per way. Guests arriving in Male after 16:00 will have to overnight in Male. The luggage allowance on the seaplane is 20kg hold and 5kg hand luggage. Excess weight will be charged at $6 per kilo over the advised limit and paid directly to the seaplane operator.

Emperor Divers is positioned on the beautiful island of Mathiveri on the northern part of Ari Atoll. This PADI 5 Star Gold Palm Resort is a full service facility and has photo and video services.

As you would expect, there is a full range of diving and photographic equipment right on hand along with expert tuition on how to get the best results all year round.

The centre also has use of private beach with white sand you can snorkel or dive the house reef. This is a very popular place with try divers.

Shore dives are typically schedule in both morning and afternoon, every day. Emperor Divers’ friendly instructors will give you a thorough pre-dive briefing and provide you with any equipment you need.

Boat dives are also available giving you a widest possible choice of dive sites. You usually make your first boat dive at a local site. Local sites are sheltered from waves and current, and offer an easy and relaxing start to your diving holiday.

PADI Open Water Referral

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

You attain this rating by completing five pool dives and a number of knowledge development sessions with a final exam (which is not rocket science its just diving) and by completing four open water dives.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
