The 214 beach villas at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu offer picturesque sights of the glistening, turquoise seas while granting easy access to the white, sandy beaches on the island. The spacious villas are elegantly furnished and decorated with wooden interiors to create a warm setting and equipped with a variety of modern amenities. At the resort’s main restaurant you can sample an array of delectable tastes and flavours including succulent seafood to signature European delicacies and well as a selection of international cuisines.

Dive Point Maldives is the dive centre located on the ground of the hotel with a team of experienced dive guides and instructors offering daily diving trips and a range of courses. The hotel house reef and neighbouring dive sites at Meedhupparu offers tiers of multi coloured corals, schools of small mesmerizing coral fish together with graceful stingrays that elegantly glide through the water and sleek sharks that hang around the seabed.

After an exciting day underwater, you can settle into the Chavana Spa at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu where the fresh floral aromas will clam your senses. The spa offers tranquility, privacy and a range of pampering treatments including signature body treatments and facials. The spa features three double rooms, four single rooms, steam and sauna facilities and a manicure-pedicure area.

Dive Point Maldives

Adaaran Select And Prestige Villas

Dive Point Maldives is based on the grounds of the Adaaran Select and Prestige Water Villas where you can enjoy an easy and Dive Bandos was one of the first dive centres in the Maldives. It is a highly established, well-known company in the area and is a member of the internationally acclaimed PADI International Resort Association offering a wide range of courses and diving trips. They have multi-lingual instructors enabling them to conduct courses in English, German, Swiss, Italian, French, Japanese and Chinese and will provide you with all the necessary teaching materials in these languages. The professional staff will ensure that you experience the underwater delights in total safety.

The dive centre is spacious and consists of air-conditioned audio-visual classrooms, a library, hot water showers and large storage rooms. Located near to the Sundowners Bar you can go kick back and relax with a cold beer or exotic cocktail after an invigorating dive. They use state of the art equipment which includes international brands such as Mares, Scubapro, Aqua Lung, Dive Rite and Suunto and there is also an in-house service shop to ensure that all the equipment is regularly serviced.

Dive Bandos has a fleet of 4 modern, spacious fibre glass dhonis, all equipped with life vests, first aid equipment, DAN Oxygen Kits and radio to enable communication with the dive centre and the island. The experienced and well-trained boat crew are always ready to help you in any way they can. All staff are regularly trained in emergency first aid techniques.

SSI Open Water Diver

This is a completion of a series of classroom lessons, 5 pool lessons and 5 open water lessons, the award of SSI Open Water Diver prepares the diver to enjoy their diving experience without incurring decompression stops. Kit removal and weight belt removal are included.

Open Water Lessons
5 qualification dives with 5th dive being a pleasure dive. First dive to a Maximum of 12m and subsequent dives to a maximum depth of 18m or 12m if classed as a junior.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.
