The Kempinski San Lawrenz Resort & Spa is set in a scenic valley surrounded by 30,000 square metres of lush tropical gardens and is located on the far west side of Gozo near the small village of San Lawrenz. It is situated in the neighbourhood of the Dwejra coastline where visitors will come across a unique natural phenomenon, the Inland Sea, a shallow body of water in the niche of a rocky coast connected to the sea through a narrow tunnel. This coupled with the breath-taking five star secluded and luxurious resort offers guests an exclusive breakaway with the highest level of service, comfort and style.

This large and well-appointed resort provides visitors with a choice of 122 airy rooms consisting of 48 stylish suites and 83 elegantly adorned premium and deluxe rooms, all of which are lavishly decorated in a traditional Maltese style. Enlighten your senses with a wonderful freshly made meal at one of the hotels four eateries, the Ortolon offers Mediterranean delights and is where breakfast is served. Trattoria San Lawrenz is an informal Italian inspired restaurant. Il-Gardina is a grill restaurant with breath-taking views of the gardens, simply relax and enjoy a light bite and glass of wine at the Il-Baldakkin bistro and lounge.

Gozo offers a fascinating underwater world and Moby Dives the local 5*star PADI dive centre is the dive operation offering daily diving packages and PADI courses. Located in the most idyllic setting of Xlendi Bay they have an excellent reputation for scuba diving, professionalism and organisation. The fully trained and qualified team will ensure you have a safe and secure dive experience whether you are new to diving or are an experienced diver.

The Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz organises a variety of sporting activities including biking, jogging, tennis and squash lessons and guided walking tours. During the hot summer all kinds of water sports such as kayaking, sailing and swimming are the natural choice.

Ritual

Xlendi Bay, Gozo

Located in Xlendi Bay on the island of Gozo. A long established dive centre the shop is beneath the Block Apart Hotel and offers guests a wide range of scuba products from discover scuba diving right through to instructor training. The knowledgeable and fully trained staff have an excellent reputation for scuba training, professionalism, organisation and are on hand to ensure guests have a wonderful experience whilst diving in Gozo.It is a PADI rated diving school that offers a wide range of scuba products from ‘’Open Water’’ to ‘’Instructor development’’. All staff are fully qualified and trained to a PADI standard and have had great experience in the area for many years.

Shore diving accompanied or unaccompanied is also available and you will need to speak with the dive centre on arrival if you wish to do any unaccompanied shore dives. The centre has two modern boats, a 6 metres rib and a day boat which are equipped with drop tanks, first aid kits and oxygen these take clients out to a variety sites including Fungus Rock and Rozi Wreck.

Diving Courses:

All courses include equipment, certification and instructor services. Manuals are not included and will be charged at the dive centre. Manuals are approximately 35 Euros.

SSI Open Water Diver

This is a completion of a series of classroom lessons, 5 pool lessons and 5 open water lessons, the award of SSI Open Water Diver prepares the diver to enjoy their diving experience without incurring decompression stops. Kit removal and weight belt removal are included.

Open Water Lessons
5 qualification dives with 5th dive being a pleasure dive. First dive to a Maximum of 12m and subsequent dives to a maximum depth of 18m or 12m if classed as a junior.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

SSI Advanced Diver

In order to complete the SSI Advanced Divers you must have completed a total of 24 dives Including the 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties

SSI Recommend a maximum qualifying depth of 30m but this can be increased to 39m with experience.

Stress and Rescue course can be taken before or after Advanced Diver.

The SSI Advanced Diver course includes 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties.
