Customer Comment:
Yes the holiday was good value for money, but we should have gone for a dive package, because, contrary to our expectations, we did a lot of boat diving & it would have been less expensive. We were, of course, offered a package but we thought we’d be mostly shore-diving so didn’t go for it.
Yes the destination was described well, although it might be worth pointing out to future customers who are drawn by shore-diving on the house-reef that at this time of year, at Cobalt Coast, wind conditions mean there aren’t that many days when it’s an option – only 2 days during our stay.
We didn’t find the resort bus at the airport on arrival, & got a taxi. This was reimbursed. No problems otherwise.
The hotel was very good. Comfortable accommodation, unobtrusive maid service, staff very friendly & helpful, good food. Individual balconies for the sea view rooms would be an improvement; the main room door could be from the walkway at the back of the hotel. But that would mean knocking the place about a bit.
The dive centre was Excellent. The best boat-diving operation we’ve experienced. Crews very friendly & helpful; the “valet diving” approach has us totally hooked.
I would give the whole holiday a 9, brilliant!
Testimonial: “A comfortable, friendly hotel, and a first class dive team. The best-organised boat-diving we’ve ever done.”
