Undersea Tobago

Coco Reef Resort & Spa

Undersea Tobago is located on the grounds of Tobago’s most beautiful hotel, the multiple award-winning Coco Reef Resort & Spa at Store Bay. The centre offers a range of PADI dive courses and dive trips to a number of dive sites around the island. Two tank dive trips for certified divers depart daily from the resort’s private beach at 9:30am returning at approximately 1:00pm. Single tank dives for tuition are scheduled at 2:00pm and for those interested in snorkeling activities, trips depart at 3:00pm. PADI instructors and dive masters act as dive guides on the trips and with a combined diving experience of over 11,000 dives they bring not only safety, but a wealth of marine life and dive site knowledge with them on every dive.

The dive boats are open designs, powered by twin outboards. These provide cruising speeds of 16 knots, enabling you to access the majority of dive sites within 30 minutes. VHF Marine Radios, DAN Oxygen and First Aid Kits are available aboard in case of emergencies. Shade, tank racks and drinking water are also provided for your convenience and comfort. A limit of six to eight divers is kept on every boat trip to ensure you get the experience of ‘uncrowded’ dives and a personalised service.

Diving in Tobago can be separated into three areas, the Caribbean coast, the south coast and Speyside, not only for geographic purposes but also for diving diversity. Due to the location of the dive centre, the dive sites that are mainly visited by Undersea Tobago are on the Caribbean and south coast of the island. Trips to Speyside can be arranged on request.
