The Siladen Resort & Spa offers you an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. Nestled on the lush green tropical island of Siladen and exclusively located in the heart of the Bunkaken Marine Park this boutique style hotel offers an authentic, tranquil haven placing high emphasis on the protection of the Marine Park and the environment as well as giving you an unforgettable experience. With sights to enjoy such as black and white tip reef sharks, eagle rays, barracudas, napoleon wrasse, turtles and wall dives rich in soft and hard coral all divers will be enthralled and mesmerised with marine life.

This beautiful resort consists of 16 bungalows constructed in wood and natural stone. With 5 beach view bungalows, 10 garden view bungalows and the Nusah Indah villa which is ideal for families, there are rooms available to suit all budgets. Guests stay on a full board basis which includes 3 meals a day, bottled drinking water, return transfers and local taxes.

The dive centre located on site is 5* star PADI certified and offers a full range of PADI courses and diving packages to over 50 sites in the Bunaken Marine Park. The fully qualified and experienced team will ensure you have a safe, exclusive and memorable diving experience. With a myriad of premium dives sites in the area to choose from and day trips to local Bangka, Lembeh Straits and Popoh even the most experienced divers will be spoilt for choice. The dive centre is fully equipped, offers air and nitrox, operates 3 dive boats and a camera room is available for keen photographers and videographers.

For anyone feeling adventurous there are a range of activities including dolphin and whale tours, Manado sightseeing tour, Minahasa highland tour, rainforest tours, white water rafting and fishing tours to name but a few. Alternatively relax in the salt water swimming pool or choose among a full range of traditional Indonesian massages, aromatherapy, body scrubs and hair treatments on offer at the spa. Babysitting services are available upon request.

Siladen Resort & Spa

A professional and friendly service awaits you at the Siladen Resort diving centre. The fully owned and managed PADI 5* dive centre is located on the resort in the heart of the marine park close to over 50 premium dive sites. Day trips can also be organised on request to nearby Bangka, Lembeh Strait and Popoh. Guests can select among a full range of courses encompassing new and experienced divers. For the more qualified divers they offer diving packages including unlimited diving with the choice to dive on air or nitrox. At the diving center you will also be able to book other activities such as trekking, rafting and fishing or join the staff for a game of volleyball on the beach court.

If you do not have a diving certificate or if you want to improve your diving skills, a full range of PADI diving courses are offered in English, French, Italian, German and Indonesian. The dive guides will take you diving to over 50 dive sites in the Bunaken Marine Park, one of the world's premium diving areas, and to the very centre’s own recently discovered sites. Here you will discover a full range of marine life, of all sizes, shapes and colours! Night diving on the house reef will add a memorable experience to your stay with the Siladen Resort & Spa.

A full range of scuba pro diving and snorkelling equipment is available for rent, customers are more than welcome to bring their own as there is plenty of space available for storage. For keen photographer and videographers a camera room is available for use and staff are more than happy to help with the set up. The centre operates three boats each fully equipped with first aids kits, oxygen and toilets. You will also be able to book other activities such as trekking, rafting and fishing or join the staff for a game of volleyball on the beach court at the dive centre.

PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Adventure Diver

Complete three Adventure Divers (underwater photography, fish identification, etc.) and earn the Adventure Diver certification, a subgroup of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.

You can choose what you’re most interested in learning. Need to work on your buoyancy skills? Try the Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure Dive. Want to know what you’re looking at down there? Try the AWARE - Fish Identification or Underwater Naturalist Adventure Dives. You’ll plan your path with your instructor, go over what you need to know and dive in quickly.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.

PADI Scuba Refresher

Refresh your scuba diving skills and knowledge. Go over important dive safety concepts.

You’ll go over important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials and problem management. Your PADI Professional will have you practice putting your gear together and doing a pre-dive safety check with your buddy. In the water, you’ll review all the basic scuba skills with a focus on good buoyancy control.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

PADI Rescue Diver

Become a Rescue Diver. A great level to be. You will have the skills to aid your fellow divers in an emergency.

The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:

PADI Drift Diver

Drift diving can be relaxing and exhilarating. The course teaches you how to enjoy going with the flow as you scuba dive down rivers and use ocean currents to glide along.

Along with drift diving techniques and procedures, you’ll:

PADI Deep Diver

Explore deeper dive sites with confidence at depths down to 40 metres/130ft. Learn to manage your gas supply, go over buddy contact procedures, and buoyancy control.

Your training starts by reviewing reasons for deep diving and how important it is to know your personal limits. During four deep dives with your instructor, you’ll go over:

Wreck dive

A trip to the local wreck dives is a must for the experienced diver. It is an amazing experience!

PADI Underwater Navigator

Fine-tune your underwater observation skills and learn to use your compass more accurately. This course may count towards college credit, ask your instructor.

You’ll learn the tools of the trade, including navigation using natural clues and by following compass headings. During three scuba dives, you’ll practice:

PADI Multilevel Diver

Extend your underwater time, learn what multilevel diving is and how to calculate for multilevel dives. Plan and execute a two-level and three-level scuba dive using the eRDPML.

You'll review decompression theory as it relates to multilevel diving and dive computer models, and plan multilevel dives using the eRDPML. During the first of your two multilevel dives, you’ll plan and execute a two-level dive, and on the second dive, you’ll complete a three-level scuba dive.

PADI Night Diver

The underwater world changes as day creatures retire & nocturnal organisms emerge. If you've wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, enrol in the PADI Night Diver Specialty course.

Scuba diving at night teaches you to focus on what you can see in your light’s beam, on controlling your buoyancy by feel, on staying with your buddy and on paying attention to details you may overlook during the day. During three night dives, you’ll practice:

PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy

Observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. Improve the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevate them to the next level.

During two scuba dives, you’ll learn how to:

This course helps you appreciate the complexity of coral reef habitats and teaches how you can help conserve these vital systems.
